Eargasm: on Carly Rae Jepsen's 2015 album E.MO.TION

Carly Rae Jepsen. Before, what I only know and think about her is that she has this one-shot wonder song called Call Me Maybe (which I surprisingly liked not because of the eye-candy guy{!} but because I find the ending funny, like just look at the guitarist's face). Then, when some sort of a commotion built up in the pop culture community of Tumblr caused by this new album by Carly Rae, I decided to check E.MO.TION out and I was instantly turned to be a worshipper of Carly Rae Slayjepsen.

Oh my God! The album E.MO.TION was really nice! I agree with the people saying that this album is so meticulously prepared. Almost all of the songs here are really catchy.

My thesis is about pop culture and during my research about how songs become catchy, I found out that catchy songs should have this familiar feel in them. Most of the songs have these important catchy elements that are usually present in pop songs.
